Having eschewed many elements of running a business (like setting up a company and getting business cards printed), I succumbed to getting this website. Huge thanks to Yvonne Ogden for tipping me off about ‘The Free Website Guys’ and the ‘Free Website Guys’ themselves who turned around the template in about three weeks.
If you’ve created a website from a template you’ll know the painstaking process. Not just the time spent editing content, resizing images and fixing broken links, but the thinking and business planning that goes into the value proposition behind the URL.
That’s why I have put it off until now – to allow my ideas to percolate and iterate, to speak to lots of lovely people, to try some things out and then to nail some of it down. I hope you enjoy having a look around!
