Sorry it’s taken so long to get episode 2 out! I hope it will be worth the wait.
Take this as your excuse to sit in the sun for a moment (27 minutes) and picture some what ifs.
Having founded the Norwich charity, Social Moments, just two years ago, the energetic Chantelle Tyrrell shares her motivations for thinking about diversifying income so early on in the organisation’s journey and why it’s just never too soon to be thinking about sustainability.
This was a lovely conversation with someone I’ve know for a few years when both of us were in different roles and sectors, but hugely aligned on how we feel about social housing and the stigma attached to it. What you can’t see but can hopefully hear is Chantelle’s passion for her community and all the people in it, as she brings them together into a space of trust and belonging.
Next month we go beyond the bounds of East Anglia to a much larger trading social enterprise to tell their story of development, securing social investment and huge plans.
