- 71% of charities and social enterprises in Norfolk report deteriorating finances. (State of the Norfolk VCSE Sector May 25)
- And yet only 2% of charities and social enterprises in the East of England have applied for social investment against 11% nationally. (Social Enterprise UK State of the Sector November 24)
Are we missing a trick here in the east by not looking seriously as social investment and what it might be able to do to keep our organisations afloat and continue to support our communities?
As part of a mission to bring connections, new networks, inspiration and hope to the charity and social enterprise sector here in Norfolk, I’m delighted to be kicking of with a FREE one-hour early evening event on all things social investment.

Amy Gutcher, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Sumerian Partners will be joining us for this FREE event at Yard Coffee, 1A, Pivotal House, Red Lion St, Norwich NR1 3TB on 24th July at 5pm – 7pm to bust the social investment myths, unpack the jargon, give some practical examples and answer your questions.
Please book your FREE space here, arrive by 5pm if you want to network and be sure to cancel your ticket if you can’t make it, as space is limited.
Coffee, tea, pastries and wine will be on sale, thanks to Yard Coffee.
